We are looking for a skilled Maintenance - Machinist to join our Maintenance team. If you're passionate about hands-on mechanical work, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a site with a proud history and strong future, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll support the safe, reliable operation of our Mill through a mix of machining, fitting, maintenance, and repair work. You’ll work across a broad range of industrial equipment — from legacy plants to modern machinery.
What do you need to succeed?
- Certificate III Mechanical Trade (e.g., Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter, Machinist, or equivalent)
- Machining Experience (manual and/or CNC)
- Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an industrial environment
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Positive communication skills and a proactive approach
Highly regarded:
- Hydraulics or Pneumatics Experience
- Welding capability
- Experience with condition monitoring, vibration analysis, or CMMS systems
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
