Job Description
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Fitter for our Plant Assets (such as the Paper Mill and Pulp Mills) as well as a Machinist for our Workshop.
Promoting safe work behaviours and contributing to a strong safety culture
Precision machining, fitting and turning
Preventative maintenance, breakdown support and shutdown work as required
Servicing, repairing, and fitting mechanical components and spares
Supporting installation, refurbishment, and improvement projects
Participation in an after-hours shared on-call roster

Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Certificate III Mechanical Trade (e.g., Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter, Machinist, or equivalent)
Machining Experience (manual and/or CNC) for our machinist role
Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an industrial environment
Ability to work effectively within a team
Positive communication skills and a proactive approach
Highly regarded:
Hydraulics or Pneumatics Experience
Welding capability
Experience with condition monitoring, vibration analysis, or CMMS systems
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
