At Boyer Paper Mill, we’re proud of our history, but even prouder of the people who shape our future. We’re looking for motivated, reliable, and curious individuals to join our Production Department as Paper Making Trainees where structured learning meets real-world experience.
This four-year traineeship offers a unique opportunity to build a long-term career in the manufacturing industry. You’ll gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and experience working as part of a skilled production team that keeps the mill running 24/7.
This is a shift-based position (2 nights, 2 days, 4 off, including weekends and public holidays). While prior experience in shift work or industrial/hands-on roles is beneficial, it’s your attitude, teamwork, and commitment to learning that will set you apart.

Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays)

Good communication and the ability to take on feedback as you learn

Ability to work within a set holiday rostering system

Previous experience in physically active, industrial, manufacturing, processing or shift-based work (advantageous)

Forklift Licence (highly desirable) or willingness to obtain one
